Overview:

Pendragon is a turn-based tactical RPG developed by Inkle. Players control King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table in a quest to reach Camlann and confront Modred. The game features a narrative-driven structure where player choices influence the story and character relationships. Each playthrough offers a unique experience due to procedural generation and branching narratives.

Gameplay Features:

• Turn-Based Combat: Engage in strategic battles on a grid-based battlefield. Movement and attacks are determined by character abilities and the surrounding environment.
• Narrative Choices: Dialogue and in-game decisions impact character morale, story progression, and the availability of different paths. Choices can lead to the recruitment of new knights or changes in existing relationships.
• Procedural Generation: Maps, encounters, and story elements are procedurally generated for each new game, ensuring varied playthroughs.
• Permadeath: Knights can be permanently lost in combat, adding a layer of strategic decision-making and consequence. However, certain characters, like King Arthur, may have unique narrative implications upon defeat.
• Character Roster: Recruit and manage a diverse roster of knights, each with unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. The available knights and their relationships evolve based on player choices.
• Morale System: Character morale is influenced by successes, failures, and narrative events. Low morale can impact combat effectiveness and lead to desertion.
• Multiple Endings: The game features various possible endings, determined by the player’s actions, choices, and the fate of the characters.
